Where will we go today?

I just wanted to share this for fun.

Right after I got back from my mission in Ukraine, I re-watched the movie Tangled and had the idea to re-write the lyrics of this song to fit our typical mission life. Here's the original song for those who don't know.

Here's the instrumental version you can play while reading through my lyrics :)

When will my life begin instrumental by Unkown on Grooveshark

Where will we go today?

Six-thirty five the usual morning line up
Roll out of bed and fall asleep in my prayer
Yoga and stretch, nap while they’re in the shower
Eat breakfast and by then it’s like o-eight fifteen
So I’ll read a book, or maybe two or three
I’ll add a few new stickies to my wall of quotes
Sign a hymn and pray and plan
And basically, just wonder where will we go today

Then after lunch it’s contact and tract and singing
Draw on the street, hold up a sign and serve
Go to jek and drop by a few member’s home
And I’ll snack, teach English, take a stroll, go back home
Then write the area book, if I have time to spare
I’ll keep my journal up, I’m sure there’s something new
And then I’ll read and read and read and read letters
Stuck with the same comp I’ve always had
And I’ll keep wanderin’, wanderin’, wanderin’, wandering, wherever Christ sends me

Tomorrow night,
The font will be filled
Just like it does every time we find faith
Oh, how they shine
With joy in their eyes
Oh, how I’m grateful
That father, you had let me go.

*Jek (Жэк)= Russian word for housing contract.
